Our shared passion and know-how for creating that live-music buzz was how we originally got together to develop RED SHOES MUSIC PRODUCTIONS. For example, if you have experienced the wildly successful Open Mike evenings at Cook Island, you will understand how THE AVERAGE BLUES BAND and many other acts are in constant demand.

Over the years we've put together an impressive collection of well established bands and talented performers. So when you contact us for help or advice to make your event successful, we will endeavour to find you music of the highest quality to meet your specific requirements.
Of course we know that success relies on the organization of more than the music and we have learned more than a thing or two about what makes events successful as well.

Over the last FOUR years the Open Mike at Cook Island has featured in the North Devon Festival. Both these events have been highly successful and at each event we pulled together 12 different acts, solo, trios, bands, acoustic, electric, covering all genre’s of music and ages. Last year approximately 200 people turned out to watch this event.

Our latest and more challenging request was to help organize the entertainment program of a holiday park in the Combe Martin area for the summer season. A very challenging but successful task, due to there being such a high number of quality local musicians we were able cover the whole of the summer season. We have been asked back to plan 2010.

This year we as Red Shoes Music are putting on our own North Devon festival Event at The Boston Tea Party in Barnstaple. We have invited Martin Harley to be the headline act. This event is to take place on Saturday June 12th and Blue Zoots will be playing support.

This year not only will we have young solo acts, bands, duos and all genres of music playing, with a full sound system but the day will be a day for children and their families etc with additional events as Hip Hop Dance work shop, Graffiti, T Shirt printing, Muisc workshops, Beach Volleyball, skateboarding to name just a few, check the web site . www.musical-youth.co.uk
